2. School Assistants – 5,703
3. Language Pandits – 2000
4. Physical education teachers (PETs) – 365
5. Municipal Teachers – 1,673

Age: Less than 18 years of age and more than 39 years of age as on 1st of July, 2012.

Important Dates:

1. DSC Online Application Submission starts from: 15th February, 2012
2. DSC Last date to apply online is: 17th march, 2012
3. Last date to Pay fee Payment: 16th march, 2012

Selection Procedure: selection process consisting of Written Test, and other criteria stipulated by the Government from time to time.

Fees: Rs.250/- towards application processing and Teachers Recruitment Test for each post through APONLINE or e-seva centers.

Written Test: The applicant should take the test only in the district in which he seeks recruitment.

DSC 2012 Exam Dates:

1. DSC 2012 exam Date to SGTs and PETs: 2nd may, 2012
2. DSC 2012 exam Date to School assistants: 3rd may, 2012
3. DSC exam Date to modal school Teachers: 4th may, 2012
