Punjab & Sind Bank invites applications for the post of Probationary Officers from Indian citizens who have taken the Common Written Examination for Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees conducted by IBPS in 2011 and have a valid Score card issued by IBPS & who meet the eligibility criteria prescribed below.
Probationary Officers (PO) (in JMG-I Scale)

• No. of Vacancies: 900 posts
• Pay Scale: Rs.14500-25700/-
• Probation Period: 2 years
• Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ ST/PWD candidates) in aggregate from a University recognized by Government of India
• Age: 21-30 years as on 01.07.2011

Selection Procedure: Selection for the post of `Probationary Officer’ will be made on the basis of performance in Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2011/ Supplementary written examination on November 2011 and Interview.
