Dinesh Trivedi has announced an increase in the rail fare which has been criticized by many people but at the same time it is being considered as reasonable when the budget of Dinesh Trivedi is taken into consideration. This budget has such plans which can play a good role in increasing the development rate of India. Although hike in rail fare will have an effect on middle class people who use rail transport daily yet this hike will give them some benefit in near future.
It was not mentioned by Dinesh Trivedi that his budget contains many things which is important for development of India. One of the major parts which his budget contains is concentration on more employment. His budget of 2012-2013 which reflects an increase of Rs 10285 crore pays proper attention to employees of railway sector. Fine print of budget reveals that about 55% of the total budget is for the benefit of employees working in Railway, i.e. Rs 5723 crore approx has been budgeted for the increase in wages, salaries and pensions of post holders.
On the other hand, new entities have been proposed to patch up with Railway Sector in order to improve rail transport in India. It is proposed that at least two entities must come up out of which one should be for better safety and the other will be for fixing tariffs and rates. As new entities will come up more employees will be required which will ultimately lead to employment generation. Indian Railway had about 13.6 Lakhs staffs in 2010-2011 which made it the largest employer globally. In 2012-2013 budgets, about 1 Lakh more employees are required so that all the proposed things can become successful.
Trivedi has planned to introduce some bullet trains in India which will require National High Speed Rail Authority. Though the structure of these high speed trains are not confirmed yet it is being planned that about 7 such trains will be introduced. For proper maintenance of trains and stations, housekeeping body is to be appointed.
So, it is good news for those who are preparing for railway recruitment exams. If you are not preparing for it then go for it…1 lakh jobs are awaiting of you.
