Main detail about ITBP Constables Recruitment 2012
Applications are invited from male Indian citizens, for filling up the vacancies of above posts, in Group-C, on temporary basis likely to be permanent in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force. The post has all India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. On appointment, the candidate shall be governed by the ITBPF Act and Rules.
Head – Constable (Motor Mechanic)
- No. of Vacancies: 58 posts
- Age: 19-25 years
- Pay Scale: PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2400/-
Constable (Motor Mechanic)
- No. of Vacancies: 135 posts
- Age: Between 18-25 years
- Pay Scale: PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2000/-
Constable (Driver)
- No. of Vacancies: 425 posts
- Age: 20-25 years
- Pay Scale: PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2000/-
Closing date for submission of application: 24/02/2012 (last date is 02/03/2012 for the candidates of Far – flung areas)
Selection Procedure: The eligible candidates shall be issued Admit cards to appear in recruitment test. The date and venue of recruitment test will be indicated in Admit card. Candidates will have to undergo the following tests:
- Checking of Documents
- Physical Standard Test
- Physical Efficiency Test (Qualifying Only)
Scheme of Examination: The exam will consist of bilingual written test (objective/narrative questions), practical trade test and interview. Only those candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying standard in written test will be eligible for further tests.
