ESIC are invited for filling up the post of Insurance Medical Officer (IMO) Grade -II (Allopathic) for ESI Hospitals in the State of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.

Insurance Medical Officer (IMO) (Allopathic) Grade – II

• No. of Vacancies: 227 posts

State wise:

1. Gujarat – 67
2. Himachal Pradesh – 08

Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 grad pay Rs.5400/-

Age: 30 years as on 12/12/2011, age relaxation as per rules

Qualification: A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualification included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub-Section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

Mode of Selection: The selection for the post of Insurance Medical Officer Grade-II will be made on the basis of written test [Part – I - Objective Test (to assess professional knowledge) which will be of 02 Hours duration and Part - II - Descriptive Test in Official Language of the state concerned where the candidate wants to apply which will be of qualifying nature and one hour duration followed by interview of those candidates who qualify the written test.

Closing date for submission of application: 20/01/2012

Application Fees: Rs.225/- in the form of Bank DD in favour of “ESIC Fund Account No.- 1” payable at New Delhi. SC/ST/PH/ Ex. Servicemen/ Women candidates are exempted from the fee.
